One Dead Little Spider HuskI look out my window, and what do I see?One Dead Little Spider Husk by willyshlecnaught
A dead little spider husk, flowing free.
Free as the wind, free as the sun,
free as the chain that has bound this one.
The sun as it shines, the leaves as they flow,
no longer will spider continue to grow.
He struggles relentlessly to free his restraints,
but goodbye is no option. Death only awaits.
"Never again, never again" The spider begins to plead.
But his harness is stuck, on his legs they cut
as spider continues to bleed.
Everyones there, but only will watch as spider persists to writhe.
They all watch in horror and awe as he goes,
spider is starting to die
One week later I find him there, looking to be alone, a little free air.
I saw him at first as a small piece of thread,
but to my curiosity, it was a spider that was dead.
Poor mister spider, I wish I knew
your whole life story and what youve gone through.
Did you have friends, and people who cared?
I'm guessing you did, that quality we share.
You might think how I know, and trust none
